Google Launcher App Drawer Empty
-
Only had my Oneplus 5T for a couple weeks and am enjoying it. Over the first week I've customised my phone the way I like it, themes , wallpaper etc.. and since I was using the Google launcher on my last phone I opted to use it on this phone. I have all my apps arranged the way I want them but now I've noticed that when I click on the app drawer it comes up empty! Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions on a fix? Just to note, since this happened I switched over to the oneplus launcher. I like the fact that they have replaced the app drawer icon with a swipe up. Don't care about the 'shelf' feature though.

You can try the usual stuff... Reboot, clear the cache, uninstall and reinstall... But I'd really suggest is getting rid of it and using a different launcher.
My personal opinion (which is that Google now launcher sucks lol) aside, Google has essentially ceased support for this launcher and the experience will only get worse as it ages with minimal or no updates.
I like Nova.

I've heard good things about the Nova launcher. Is the free version ok or would you recommend the paid version?

I've got the pro version, it's worth the money. But the free version is more than good enough. I upgraded more to support the developer than because it was necessary.
Don't forget you can import your setup on most custom launchers if you do switch, should save you having to set up again.

I agree. The Premium version is well worth the investment. So many gesture options and it is really very stable and well supported.

I have to agree as well, I have the gestures set up like the oneplus launcher and have the Google now page addons (when it chooses to work, it's great for me to catch up on news at the end of the day). Plus I have almost all gestures mapped out to something, makes life easy lol
