Our Verdict
Contemporary seriph TrueType font Jura remains legible when small, only carries its weighting loose font sizes, too. IT's an excellent each-around baptistry, and it's donationware, too.
In that respect are no hard edges in contemporary serif Jura. All the corners and angles are elegantly smoothened, which brings to mind the Isle of Jura (in Scotland's Inner Hebrides) more than the sub-alpine Jura Mountain chain. Designer Erectile dysfunction Merritt offers Jura as donationware at tenbytwenty.com.
Jura has much Thomas More even railway line thickness than many other seriph fonts. Jura a less script type than traditional Times Newfangled Roman, but it's not marking-drawn either—and the serifs blend easily into the strokes, bountiful Jura a single look. Like most seriph fonts, Jura includes the varsity letter-press manner lower case a and g, although the g has an interesting flat can that matches the modern, short ascenders and descenders of this typeface.
Jura is rather legible at very midget text sizes, only it's also interesting enough to be used for display purposes. The Jura fount has regular, vaulting, an oblique italic-expressive style, and bold-Italic language faces, which in turn all admit wholly upper and small letter, Book of Numbers, punctuation, diacritics, some special characters and mathematical glyphs.
Jura is donationware that's downloadable for free for personalized and commercial use; but if you're making money, consider donating to designer Ed Merritt via his Ten by twenty website.
